I've only had these for a couple of weeks so far, but they work perfectly for my two and a half car garage. The problem I had previously with another purchase was that the sensor would pick up movement of any kind through doors and walls. Which kind of defeated the purpose if it never shut off. The sensor on this one is great and picks up movement as soon as I open any of my garage doors large or small, but not before. These are nice and bright and I love having a remote so I can change it to stay on permanently if I'm working in the garage. Overall very pleased so far!
I installed it in my dining room, and it provides excellent light output, about three times brighter than a 100W bulb. It works in two modes: motion sensor mode or regular lamp mode. It came with a small cheap plastic E26 socket. As for the price, I find it a bit high because I've seen other places selling two of these lights for the same price. I took off a star because of the price
I installed thisMotion Sensor Garage Light (200W, 20000LM) in my garage, and wow, this thing turns night into day. The brightness is seriously impressive, and it covers every corner thanks to the deformable panels. I can adjust the angles easily to direct light exactly where I need it, which is great for both my car area and workbench. The motion sensor is kind of tricky, picking up movement instantly sometimes fast a d other times kind of still off. Description says is three mode for me only two, one as a regular light and other motion sentor. Setup was a breeze, it screws in like a regular bulb, no extra wiring needed. The 6500K daylight color is perfect for detailed work in the garage or basement, and it doesn’t strain my eyes like some bluish-white LEDs can. The other minor con is that it’s so bright, you might want to avoid looking directly at it. But that’s what I wanted, max brightness with smart features.
This garage auto sensor light is great! I replaced it with one I bought a year ago, and this one is clearly better. It's brighter overall, especially with the added center light ring and improved illumination directly below. I also appreciate that it comes with a lampholder socket in the kit—last year, I had to buy that separately. Plus, it offers both sensor mode and always-on mode, which makes it more versatile. Overall, a great choice for a garage light!
